Portrait of Mary Catherine Yancey (1817-1905) at the Richmond-Miles History Museum in Yanceyville, Caswell County, North Carolina. In 1837 she married Giles Mebane of Alamance County, North Carolina. Mary Catherine Yancey was a daughter of Bartlett Yancey, Jr. and Ann (Nancy) Graves.
