Elizabeth Harriet Yancey 

 Elizabeth, daughter of Stith Gardner Yancey and Malvina Dunreath Lydich was born March 30th, 1851 in Mecklenberg, Virginia. Elizabeth married Edwin Perry Wilkinson on June 17th, 1875 in Halifax, Virginia. They lived in Halifax and had ten children: Walter William, Mary D, Elizabeth Carlisle, Clarence W, Wilford Reed, Edwin Trent, Edwin Perry, Isabelle, Miriam and Willie Green. On July 7th, 1897, 7 months after the birth of Willie Green in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Elizabeth died of scarlet fever. She was buried in South Boston, Halifax, VA.

Edwin Perry Wilkinson

 Edwin, was born on December 25, 1851 in Henrico, Virginia. Edwin was a the son of a Richmond City's police officer, Archibald and wife, Mary Jane Doing. Edwin worked as a railroad agent and he married Elizabeth Harriet Yancey in Halifax. They had 10 children, 4 died young and he became a widow in 1897. Edwin remarried twice after Elizabeth's death, to Mary Alice Manning and Willie Edmond Sykes. Edwin died January 9, 1934 in Lowndes, Mississippi, he was buried at Friendship cemetery.

Elizabeth Carlisle Wilkinson

 Elizabeth, daughter of Elizabeth Harriet Yancey and Edwin Perry Wilkinson, was born in Sept. 1879 in Virginia. On October 6th, 1910 she married Charles Dailey Evans Sr of Maryland, son of Edward Evans and Justina Dailey. Elizabeth studied at the Mississippi Women's College and worked as a nurse at the Garfield Memorial Hospital. She died in January 25, 1943 and is buried in Columbia Gardens in Arlington, Va.

Dr. Walter William Wilkinson

Walter, son of Elizabeth Harriet Yancey and Edwin Perry Wilkinson, was born in Sept. 1876 in Virginia. Walter studied at the George Washington University Medical School and worked at the Garfield Memorial Hospital in Washington DC with his sisters. Walter died of tuberculosis on March 17, 1917 where he worked, at the Catawba Sanatorium.

Isabelle Wilkinson (left)

 Isabelle, daughter of Elizabeth Harriet Yancey and Edwin Perry Wilkinson, was born May 18, 1891 in South Boston, Halifax, VA.  Isabelle studied at the Mississippi Women's College and worked as a nurse in the Garfield Memorial Hospital. Isabelle married Walter Urbach Varney.  Isabelle died on January 19, 1966 and is buried in Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA. 

Miriam Wilkinson (right)

Miriam, daughter of Elizabeth Harriet Yancey and Edwin Perry Wilkinson, was born November 28, 1888 in Halifax, Virginia. Miriam lived with her father Edwin, until she married Howard K Robinson. According to old letters, Miriam and Howard adopted Helen Pitcock and changed her name to Elizabeth Miriam Robinson. Miriam died November, 1978 in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Willie Green Wilkinson

 Willie, youngest child of Elizabeth Harriet Yancey and Edwin Perry Wilkinson was born Dec. 31, 1896 in Goldsboro, NC. She was raised by Edwin's sister, Martha Virginia Wilkinson. Willie married Edwin J Staub, they lived in Alabama and had 6 children. Willie died Aug. 27, 1973 in Clearwater, Pinellas, Florida.
