 * It was originally thought that #1 was Elda Rider Yancey - wife of Orley Yancey (holding daughter Yvonne - born in 1939 - and thus dating the photo as 1939)
However it now seems evident that #1 is actually Donnetta Jensen Madsen holding daughter Diana (born December 1936) - and that the photo was probably taken in the summer of 1937 and not 1939 as previously thought.

Donnetta and Elda did have simlar features. -  see photos below.
