Frank R. Underhill
Frank R. Underhill, formerly of this city, passed away yesterday in Waterbury, Conn. Mr. Underhill was a
member of Old Well lodge, No. 108, of South Norwalk and Waterbury lodge, No. 702, Loyal Order of
Moose. Survived by his widow, Elizabeth Feldmier Underhill, one daughter, Miss Lillian A. Underhill, of
Waterbury; two sisters, Mrs. John C. Dennis of East Norwalk, and Mrs. Fanny Merriam, of Meridan, Conn.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 from the Alderson funeral home, Waterbury. Rev.
Theodore O. Babilin, pastor of the Waterbury Methodist church will officiate. Interment will take
place in the family plot in the East Norwalk cemetery at 1:15.

Charles H. Underhill, of Fitch Street, Died This Morning.
Charles H. Underhill, a well known resident of East Norwalk and dealer in wood, died this morning at 6.20
o'clock at his home on Fitch street from consumption. [last word crossed out in pencil] The deceased has
been actively engaged in his business up to a few months ago when poor health forced him to give up. He
recovered and for a time resumed his business duties.
Sickness shortly caused him to give up again, however, and he failed rapidly until his death.
The deceased was in his 68th year of his age and leaves a widow and four children, A. W. Underhill, of New
Haven, Frank R. Underhill, of this place, Miss Fannie Underhill, of the homestead and Mrs. Emma Dennis, of
New York. Rev. F. E. Robbins will officiate at the funeral which will probably be held from the home on
Friday afternoon.

Frank Richard, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dennis, died in New Haven,
January 19.
