This is known as the "Duck Pond Bible" and was originally owned by George Townsend, II, of Oyster Bay.
The entries by him are followed by those of his descendants, including some by the name of Cock. The
Bible has descended directly to Mrs. W. R. Caminoni, Oyster Bay, N. Y., who is the
great-great-great-great-granddaughter of the original owner.
