This Bible belonged to James Pope & Abby S. (Upton) Putnam of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. James was the
son of Isaiah & Hannah Putnam, grandson of Deacon Daniel Putnam.
The Bible is now in the possession of the C. G. Brisee Genealogy Library, Irwin, Iowa.

Frank Webster Putnam died of Rheumatism of the heart July 23d 1887 - aged 14 yrs - 4 mos.
Daniel Cowdin Putnam died at Springfield O. of blood-poisin by internal injuries June 18. 1888. aged 44 yrs
