Mrs. Nellie I. Pope, Dugger, Ind. (Special) - Mrs. Nellie I. Pope, 69, RR 3, Sullivan, died at 3:05 a.m.
Sunday in the Mary Sherman Hospital at Sullivan. She is survived by the husband, Bert; three daughters,
Mrs. Mildred Trinks, Marion, N.C., Mrs. Catherine Arnold, Ortonville, Mich., and Mrs. Mary Francis
Monroe, Carlisle; two sons, Cecil R.., Dugger, and Russel, Martinsville, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Morris,
Sullivan; five half brothers, Max and Eugene Lewellyn, both of Detroit, Mich., Harold, Ralph, and Hubert
Lewellyn, all of Sullivan. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cass Methodist Church, with
Don Tichenor officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery. Friends may call at the Newkirk Funeral
Home.

approaching marriage of their daughter, Judith, to James David Whiddon Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James
David Widdon Sr., of Sparks, Ga. The wedding is planned for July 15 at the First Christian Church in
