Contains the records in Dutch and English of Col. Johannes Knickerbacker (1723-1802) and Rebecca
Fonda, his wife, with their descendants for three generations. It passed into the hands of strangers but
was purchased from them by Miss Katheryne Knickerbacker Viele, a great-granddaughter of Col.
Knickerbacker, who has presented it to the New York State Library at Albany, N. Y.

Eighty four years and two Days.
Be it Remembered that Johannis Knickerbacker departed this life on the 16th Day of August 1802 at a
Quarter past ten in the Morning aged Seventy Nine Years fore Months and twenty one Days. and his Wife
Rebecca on the 6 Day of Jan'y 1800 About 8 o'c in the morning.
