Mary D. Collins died the 14th f 6th Month 1838 Aged 34 years, after a long and suffering
illness through which she evinced great patience and disposal to the Divine Will, how it
might terminate, her life tho' short was exemplary and pious, possessing good talents
and a sweet urbanity of manners, she devoted them to usefulness, and the performance
of her duties, as a Wife, Mother and Friend, and very remarkably in the Education of her
children, instilling in their young minds the most purity of morals and the sublimest
views of Religion agreeable to her profession.

She was greatly beloved by a very extensive circle of acquaintance both at home and
abroad, having travelled for her health - and is as greatly lamented especially by her
family and near friends - For a long time before her close she often expressed her
readiness and anxiety to go, that her prospects were bright, and fully assured of a happy
and eternal rest, which continued to her last moments. -

She was interred in friend's Burying Ground the 17th at Milton Ulster County State of New
York.

Mary D. Collins with her husband and four children left New York for Milton on the 20th of
5. Mo 1838 for the benefit of purer air.

My dear Father Eleazar Dudley departed this life the 5th of 1st Month 1800.  I think he
said he was born in 1739.

My dear Mother Anne Dudley departed this life the 21st of 8th Month 1828, i think she
used to say she was about two years younger than my dear Father.  They were both
interred in friends burying ground at Knackballymaher near Roscrea in the County of
Tipperary, Ireland and I have no doubt are inheriting the reward of their useful well spent
lives.  Edward Dudley.

My dear son Edward Dudley closed a well spent life the 18th of 11 mo 1835 aged 38
years. - A Character marked with many amiable and valuable traits a Dutiful, Affectionate
Son, Brother and friend, whose death was in accordance with his correct life, evincing a
happy resignation to the Divine will and a consoling assurance of a Glorious Admission
into the Mansions of rest.  May our great loss and the memory of his excellent example
be sanctified to his surviving relations!
