This Bible was presented to our Mother Elizabeth S Jackson by Reverend and Mrs. J. M.
Peters of St. Michael's Church New York and is given to our Nephew and Niece Frederic
Joseph Agate and Helen Agate on the occasion of the birth of their Son, Dec 23 1909

Marriages
Frederic Kirkham Agate, son of Joseph and Mary Virginia Fisher Agate, of Yonkers, N. Y.,
was married to Sarah Catherine Jackson, daughter of David S. and Elizabeth Jackson,
were married on April 16, 1879 at St. John's Church, Yonkers, N. Y.

Mary Virginia Agate, daughter of Frederic K. and Sarah J. Agate, was married to Winthrop
Davenport Smith, son of Eugene Smith and Katherine Bacon Smith, of New York, Jan. 3,
1903, in New York City

Frederick Joseph Agate, son of Frederick K. and Sarah J. Agate, was married to Helen
Woolsey Smith, daughter of Eugene Smith and Katherine Bacon Smith of New York, on
June 22, 1905 at Norfolk, Conn.

Katherine Bacon Agate married Henry Livingston Heyl of New Canaan, Conn. at Denver,
Colorado, May 7, 1944.

Frederick J. Agate Jr. married Fay Elizabeth Crawford of Lamar, Colorado at Raton, New
Mexico on June 10, 1947.

Williams Jackson Agate married Kathleen McGusty of New York City at Cornwall, Conn. on
June 29, 1951. 1st Church of Christ

Sarah Katherine Jackson Agate, widow of Frederic Kirkham Agate, was married to Michael
Idvorsky Pupin, Oct. 27th 1888 in the Russian Church, London, England.

Frederic Kirkham Agate, son of Joseph and Mary Agate, died in Lucerne Switzerland, Aug.
17, 1887, and was buried in St. John's Cemetery, Yonkers, N. Y. in the Agate family plot

Sarah Katherine Agate Pupin, died on April 26, 1906 in New York City, and was buried in
Woodlawn Cemetery, N. Y. C.

Katherine Bacon Smith, wife of Eugene Smith, and mother of Winthrop D. Smith and
Helen Woolsey Smith Agate, died on July 25, 1915 at Norfolk, Connecticut, and was
buried in the cemetery at Norfolk, Conn.

Mary Virginia Agate Smith, died on June 13, 1950 in Greenwich, Conn and was buried in
Norfolk, Conn.

Winthrop D. Smith died May 5, 1922, buried in Norfolk, Conn.

Frederic Joseph Agate, son of Frederic Kirkham Agate, died on November 20, 1951 in
Cornwall, Conn and was buried at Cornwall.

Virginia Agate daughter of Kathleen and Williams Jackson Agate  born Charlotte
Hungerford Hospital Torrington, Conn on March 28, 1955 died same day
