Daniel Gunn's Will probate reference is: Lunenburg Co., VA -  Daniel Gunn 4-1-1798 proved 1-9-1800, Will Book 5, page 1.  I have not seen the will only an abstract as follows:  Elizabeth Yancey Gunn is not mentioned and I assume was deceased when Daniel died.

Jenny Waller, Polly Morgan, Elizabeth Richardson, Sally B. Gunn and Nancy Gunn.  Will Book 5, Lunenburg County, Virginia.
 

To my daughter Janey Waller, 2 Negroes, Frank and Peter, a horse, saddle and bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves now in her possession;  to daughter Polley Morgan, 2 Negroes, Grace and Betty, horse, saddle and bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves now in her possession., to daughter Elizabeth (Mrs. John Richardson), horse saddle and bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves now in her possession; to daughter Sally B. Gunn, 3 Negroes, Jerry Lucy, and Lewis, bay mare, saddle and bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves, to daughter Nancy Gunn, 3 Negroes, Andrew, Aggy, and China, a mare, saddle and bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves, daughters Salley and Nancy during single life to have use of the house and land where I live; to son James, all lands and plantations when age 21, also three Negroes, Jack, David, Willey, the black mare, saddle bridle, feather bed and furniture, 2 cows and calves, yoke of steers;  I appoint son James Gunn, James Jeffress, and Alexander Winn executors.

     "In the name of God, Amen, I Thomas GUNN Sr. of sound and disposing mind and memory think it necessary to make and ordain this my last will and testament which is as followeth. Item, I desire that my loving wife Sarah GUNN should have the whole of my estate both real and personal in possession during her natural life, and after her death to be disposed of as follows. Thomas GUNN after the death of my wife to him and his heirs, on his paying the following legacies. Item, I give to my daughter Rebeckah Webb 5 pounds to be paid her in 5 years. Item, I give to Elizabeth Sharp, 5 pounds to be paid her in 5 years. Item, I give Sara Yarle (Yaxley), 5 pounds to be paid in 5 years. Item, to my son Wm. GUNN, 5 pounds to be paid in 5 years. Item, to my son John GUNN, 5 pounds to be paid in 5 years. Item, to my daughter Mary Jeffres, 5 pounds to be paid in 5 years. Item, to my son Jas. GUNN, 5 pounds to be paid in 5 years.
